Movie Synopsis

Field of Dreams stars Kevin Costner as Ray Kinsella, a farmer who hears a mysterious voice telling him, "If you build it, he will come." Inspired by the message, Ray plows his cornfield to build a baseball diamond, despite skepticism from his family and neighbors.

As Ray completes the field, the ghosts of legendary baseball players, including Shoeless Joe Jackson, appear to play baseball. The story takes a mystical turn as Ray embarks on a journey to understand the purpose of the field and reconcile with his estranged father. Along the way, he encounters various characters who share a connection to the past and the game of baseball.

The film combines elements of fantasy with a heartfelt exploration of the importance of following one's dreams and the power of second chances. The iconic line "If you build it, he will come" has become synonymous with the film's message of faith, belief, and the pursuit of one's passions.
